Absorbent dam

Sorbent booms/mini booms are products designed to absorb hydrocarbons from water and soil by placing them in the path of the pollutant, thus stopping the migration and spread of pollution.
Situations requiring the use of sorbent weirs

  • For accidental pollution of water, soil, work premises, around machinery, etc.
  • With the quick-connect systems they are equipped with, it is possible to achieve the length of weir required for the intervention.
  • Can be used in combination with other depollution systems (natural absorbers, pads, rollers, etc.).
  • It is used to form a barrier around machinery, preventing pollutants from escaping.

Structure:

  • The dam has natural and biodegradable absorbent and/or synthetic absorbent inside as absorbent.
  • The outer jacket is made of a special material that allows the pollutant to be absorbed and also allows easy penetration into the absorption material.

Features:

  • The main characteristic of the dam is that of pollutant absorption.
  •  The qualities of the natural biodegradable absorbent in the composition of the dam are fully preserved: instant absorption and encapsulation of petroleum products, biodegradability.
